- San Benito Drive, 9pm. A resident reported someone broke into his locked rear shed.

- Local Three Operators, Digital Drive, 6:50am. Several buildings in the area were “tagged” overnight.

24/7 Workspace, Madrone Parkway, 8:07am. A window of the business was shattered overnight.

La Alameda, 8:29pm. A resident reported someone broke two windows of their vehicle while it was parked at the apartment complex.
Petty theft
- Barnell Avenue, 1:16pm. A manager of the apartment complex reported someone broke into the complex laundry room.
Fraud
- Hacienda Mobile Home Estates, Burnett Avenue, 4:56pm. A resident reported she mailed information to a friend in Gilroy, but the friend never received the information, which included a credit card number. Now someone is attempting to make charges on the account.

- Barrett Avenue, 2:36pm. A resident reported her window was shattered.
Aug. 8
Petty theft
- Mervyn’s, Cochrane Plaza shopping center, 9:03pm. Several suspects ran out of the store with merchandise, and when the loss prevention officer chased after them, they threatened him with bats and sticks.

- Madrone Mobile Estates, Burnett Avenue, 1:36am. A resident reported someone shattered two windows of his vehicle overnight.
