Burglary

• St. Michael Place, 11:40am. A resident reported someone stole a set of golf clubs, estimated value $2,000, from the garage of the residence.

Stolen vehicle

• Del Monte Village Townhomes, Hale Avenue, 2:38pm. A resident reported her son stole her Chevy Cobalt while her daughter was inside.

Aug. 15

Stolen vehicle

• Le Sabre Court, 8:58pm. A resident reported their locked Honda Civic was stolen from the residence overnight.

Aug. 18

Stolen vehicle

• Target Store, Cochrane Road, 3:25pm. A resident reported his wife parked her Honda Accord in the parking lot and it was stolen.

Aug. 19

Stolen vehicle

• Cochrane Village Apartments, Butterfield Boulevard, 10:46am. A resident reported a Toyota Camry was stolen from the parking lot overnight.

Auto burglary

• Holiday Inn Express Hotel, Condit Road, 12:34pm. A guest reported someone stole items from a car carrier on top of their car while it was parked in the parking lot.

Child abuse

• Madrone Mobile Estates, Burnett Avenue, 8:10pm. A Morgan Hill resident reported her two children were at their father’s residence in the mobile home park, and the father allegedly tried to strangle the 12-year-old son. When the daughter tried to call police, the mother reported, the grandmother took the phone away to prevent her.

Aug. 21

Grand theft

• Educational Data Systems, Inc., Concord Circle, 11:35am. The business reported copper piping was stolen from the air conditioning units on the roof overnight. The suspect may have left behind a wallet.

Petty theft

• AM/PM Mini Mart, Monterey Road, 8:14pm. A male suspect stole two 12-packs of beer from the store.

Burglary

• Castle Hill Drive, 8:36pm. A resident reported they were on vacation for over a week, and when they returned home, TVs, jewelry and other items were gone. The resident told police their uncle’s gun safe containing approximately 12 guns was also stolen.
