Auto burglary: A Murphy Ranch resident reported he saw someone going through a vehicle. He told police he had returned home the night before and found his residence’s door ajar and a male suspect inside. He told police he chased the suspect but could not catch him. He said he didn’t know if the two incidents were related. The report was taken at 7:26am.

Auto burglary: A San Gabriel Court resident reported someone broke into all three vehicles in her driveway. She told police she believes they used a “slim jim” to enter the cars. An MP3 player and other items were stolen from the vehicles. The report was taken at 10:14am.

Auto burglary: A San Vicente Drive resident reported her purse was stolen from her vehicle. The report was taken at 5:57pm.

Vandalism: A Barnell Apartments resident told police someone was throwing rocks at her apartment’s windows. The report was taken at 7:57pm.

- Vandalism: A Comfort Inn guest on Condit Road reported their van’s windshield and rear window were shattered overnight. The report was taken at 7:03am.

Vandalism: A Willows Apartments resident reported four or five indentations in her vehicle could be bullet holes. She told police the indentations could have been made by a BB gun or a .22, but she is not sure where or when it happened. The report was taken 3:47pm.

Burglary: A Holiday Motel resident reported someone broke into their apartment and stole a guitar valued at $600. The apartment’s door was “kicked in,” and there is a possible witness. The report was taken at 7:47pm.
