Morgan Hill – Pinnacle Bank of Morgan Hill has named Pete Welton senior vice president.
Welton was executive director at AgriFinance and first vice president at Rabobank N.A. He also held positions at San Benito Bank, Community Bank and United California Bank.
Welton has been in banking for more than 32 years. He began his career in 1975 with United California Bank in Fresno. In the late 1990s he joined San Benito Bank and held a variety of positions before joining Community Bank and opening its office in Gilroy in 2002. Welton was also a dual officer serving as executive director of agri-finance and first vice president of Rabobank N.A. Welton has lived with his wife and two daughters in Gilroy for 26 years. He’s past board member and president of the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce, past director of the Gilroy Garlic Festival, past director and chairman of the San Benito County American Red Cross and board member and president of the San Benito County United Way. He’s serving as a board member for the Northern California American Red Cross Blood Services.
