Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy after an illness.
Persiliana Gonzalez Robles, 79, died April 20, 2005, at St. Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy after an illness. A native of Barranca de Santa Clara, Jalisco, Mexico, she had lived in Gilroy since l989. Previously she made her home in Watsonville where worked at frozen food processing plants.
She is survived by a stepson Manuel Robles of Fresno; stepdaughters Anita Gitmed of San Martin, Susanna Tidwell and Ramona Robles, both of Gilroy; a brother Manuel Gonzalez of Santa Ana; a sister Maria del Refugio Gonzalez Alvarez of San Martin; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Robles, in l986;
Friends are welcome at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel, 222 E. Lake Ave., (Highway 152) on from 5-9pm today. Vigil Service at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday at 10:30am at St. Patrick’s Church, 721 Main St., Watsonville, with burial following at the Valley Public Cemetery.
