Hello, my name is Christal Neufeld, one of the proud graduates
of 2003, Central High School. I am more than proud of every
graduate here tonight, and I feel honored to be your salutatorian.
Maybe some are wondering how one could be honored as salutatorian.
I can tell my story as a child and a young girl. I had to overcome
many trials and tribulations that tried to stand in my way. I
overcame it all through self respect, the determination to succeed
and the knowledge within myself that I can be anything I want to
be. As I held onto my strength, I beat the odds.

While attending the best school I know of, Central High School, I created a healthy balance between my social time, and school work time and with the outgoing person in me, I combine both.
Always however, my priorities came first and my number one was school. I set my mind and my time to achieve A’s and B’s. But to me those were not just grades, those were marks of success due to my hard work. As in all success it took sacrifice’s like loosing sleep to study, being, a busy-body, and some days, just being exhausted. But I stuck with it and kept on. Those sacrifices were nothing compared to the self satisfaction, self confidence, and self assurance it gave to me.
I had so much fun attending Central High School. I would like to send all my love and complete gratitude to God, to every teacher and staff member at Central to all of my peers and to my supportive family. I love you all.
One more thing, If there is anything I could say to everybody tonight, it would be to know what each one of us are individuals, and there is absolutely nothing that you can not accomplish.
I also want you all to understand that we are all beautiful in our own ways.
I can accomplish anything through determination and so can you. Thank you.
