Wanda L. Styron of San Juan Bautista passed away Tuesday in San Jose. A full obituary will appear in the newspapers later in the week. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.

Donna Lee Scalmanini May 30, 1943 – January 10, 2017
Donna Lee Scalmanini, oldest daughter of Louie and Pauline Raiola was born on the 30th of May 1943. Sister to Jannet, Dennis and Louise; Donna graduated from Andrew Hill High School in San Jose, in 1962. She married Michael Scalmanini in 1962 in San Jose, CA. They raised 3 sons: Michael, Frank and Kevin Scalmanini of Hollister. Grandchildren include Michael and Jordan (Michael), Mark (Kevin) and Ryan and Tyler (Frank) and Great Granddaughter Amilia Scalmanini (Michael).
Ida A. Perry-Wickholm March 29, 1932 – March 13, 2016
Visitation will be on Monday, March 21, 2016, from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., at the funeral home. The Mass will be on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at 11:00 A.M., at Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos. Interment will be at Garden of Memories in Salinas following the the Mass. A reception will follow the graveside services at the church hall. Julia Pasos Azevedo
Born in Monterey, California and grew up in Hollister. Julie passed away peacefully on January 28th after a courageous battle with cancer. Remembered lovingly by her husband of 63 years, Elmer Azevedo of Gustine, where the couple made their home since moving there in 1952. Julie will also be missed greatly by her daughter, Judy Cabral of Paradise and her son Gene Azevedo of Yuba City.

Billie C. Bettencourt
Billie C. Bettencourt passed away Sunday morning at the age of 90. She was born in New Idria and had lived in San Benito County all of her life. She went to San Benito High School and college in Spokane, WA. She worked for many years at Hollister Auto Parts and later for the county tax collector's office.
Claire Dean Greer
Claire was born in Lava Hot Springs, ID. As a youngster he moved to Gilroy with his grandparents. After graduating, he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and served in WWII as a Steward's Mate Second Class. During that time he became a boxing champ. Claire later came to Paicines in 1966. He retired from Greer Landscaping in 1995. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to dance. He enjoyed many activities as a member of Thousand Trails. His favorite pastime was being with his family. Claire was preceded in death by his infant son Kenneth. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Isabel (Betty) Greer, their 5 children and spouses; Stephen and Louise Greer of Hollister, Tom and Janice Tomasello of Hollister, Michael and Janis Greer of Seligman MO, Robert and Vivian Greer of San Juan Baustista, and John and Patty Marfia of Hollister. He is also survived by his siblings Shirley Barker, Monte and Dennis Ezell all of Paso Robles, and numerous relatives and friends. Claire's legacy continues as a proud "Gramps" to 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for willingly sharing his secret cookie stash with them. Claire lost his battle with a lengthy illness Friday morning with his family by his side. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 18, 2009, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
