Mary Joyce Steed
Mary Jo (Joyce) Steed of Morgan Hill was born on March 13, 1942 in Long Beach, CA. She passed away at home on July 27, 2007 at the age of 65, after nearly twelve years courageously battling emphysema. Mary had a love for animals that started when she was very young, riding horses on the beach and working on the family dairy as a child. The family moved the dairy to Modesto where Mary graduated from Downing High School.

Peter R. Alvidrez passed away Friday morning in Hollister at the age of 77. He was born In El Centro, was raised along with his brothers and sisters in Corcoran and came to San Benito County in 1963. Peter was a construction worker having worked on the San Luis Dam in the late 1950's and early 1960's. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church; V.F.W. Post 9242 of Hollister and the Laborers International Union, #297, in Salinas.

Robert (Bob) Wylde
Born and raised in Webster, MA, the eldest son of Frank E. and Hazel (Ostberg) Wylde. WWII and Korean War veteran, Marine Corps pilot. He received an Aeronautical Engineering degree from Tri-State College, Angola, IN and worked as a Missile Launch Engineer with the Atlas missile program in the emerging space industry at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Santa Maria, CA, and as a project engineer with United Technologies Center, Sunnyvale, CA. He retired as a Lockheed Engineer. His interests included gardening, antique flint lock pistols, numismatic, and traveling - finding his roots in England and Sweden.
