Oakwood Hawks

The Boys Varsity Basketball team traveled to Monterey Monday to face off with powerhouse Trinity Christian in an offensive slugfest, winning 83-73.
The varsity team is now 12-1 on the season. Ousmani Williams finished with a game high 31 points.
Evan Richards tossed in 21 points and Vijay Singh added 18 points. The inside play of Andrew Lyle and Jimmy Marschke may have been the real difference in this game, as they controlled the boards.
Jimmy Marschke had 13 rebounds for the Hawks of Oakwood.

Junior varsity

The Boys JV Basketball team won Monday in thrilling style, as they defeated Trinity Christian by the final score of 57-55.
AJ Singh hit a three point basketball with 10 seconds left in the game, to give Oakwood the victory.
Justin Bautista shut down Trinity’s speedy point guard. Brad Jones led the scoring attach and finished with a season high of 32 points.
Oakwood also received large contributions from Vimal Singh, Aidan Tacklind, Blake Mercurio and Justin Gonzaga. The Oakwood JV team is now 6 & 1 on the season.
