OLYMPICS: U.S. bid for 2020 Summer Games possible but very unlikely

The Oakwood High School Boys Varsity Basketball improved to 4-0 with two more victories against Mountain View and North Valley Baptist.
On Thursday evening, Oakwood traveled up north and defeated a strong Mountain View team by the final score of 69-65.
Oakwood was led by sophomore Ousmani Williams who finished with a game high 32 points.
Evan Richard added 18 points and 14 rebounds. Oakwood had late key 3-point buckets from Vijay Singh and sophomore Justin Gonzaga to seal the victory for the visiting Hawks.
On Friday evening, Oakwood played at home and defeated North Valley Baptist by the final score of 63-27.
It was not Oakwood’s strongest performance of this early season, as their normal strong ball movement left them and they were a bit sluggish due to playing four games in five nights.
Freshman Brad Jones played a strong all-around game for Oakwood. Junior, Andrew Lyle was a force as he finished with 13 rebounds.
Earlier in the week, Oakwood defeated KIPP High School by the final score of 80-40. Evan Richards led the way for Oakwood and finished with a game high 22 points. Vijay Singh also had a great all-around game and added 17 points. Williams once again played a great floor game and finished with 15 points.
Daniel Millward played well on both ends of the floor and chipped in with 8 points.
