Child Safety Fair
Home Depot held its annual safety fair for children Saturday, Oct. 7, with the help of the Morgan Hill Police Department, California Highway Patrol and the Santa Clara County Fire Department. Parents and their children learned about safety in the home, child safety identification kits and other topics while having fun with police officers and firefighters. Home Depot also supplied crafts for kids to make and pumpkins for them to take home.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office confirmed this week that a body found Dec. 15 in unincorporated Gilroy has been identified as a missing San Martin man.
The remains were positively identified as Gabriel Laradelara, 21, who was last seen alive Dec. 1 in Gilroy.
