Students at P.A. Walsh Elementary School ended the school year enjoying their new computer lab, officially opened this spring as parents and Morgan Hill Unified School District officials looked on.
The new computers have allowed students to access the Internet for research, some of them for the very first time. Students have also used the computers to move forward with their studies, thanks to new software the school now uses, according to P.A. Walsh Elementary School Principal Esther Corral-Carlson, who proudly ushered guests from the district and the school community into the new lab.
District Superintendent Alan Nishino talked to students about technology and was recognized by the school for his focus on bringing technology to the local classrooms. Students and staff thanked district facilities supervisor Anessa Pasillas for helping to get the lab up and running.
