National River Cleanup Day Was Successful

Saturday’s National River Cleanup Day in Morgan Hill was a huge success. Several environmentally-minded residents enthusiastically volunteered to pick up about 50 pounds of trash – and one abandoned shopping cart – along the Llagas Creek near Community Park.

As coordinator for the event, I’d like to heartily thank Howard and Mary Nelson, Jill Thompson, and Jill’s children Auggie and Maya Eulo for pitching in this weekend in the litter cleanup.
