The Morgan Hill Middle School Coed Water Polo Club won the
championship of the Peninsula Bay Middle School League at Menlo
Atherton High School. Clinics were put on for both boys and girls
featuring past Olympic water polo players and current college
players.
The Morgan Hill Middle School Coed Water Polo Club won the championship of the Peninsula Bay Middle School League at Menlo Atherton High School.

Clinics were put on for both boys and girls featuring past Olympic water polo players and current college players.

Danny Robinson and Priscilla Orona won top gun awards in the eighth grade division and Will Watson and won the award in the seventh grade division.

The team went 10-0 in league play and then captured four wins in the championship tournament. The team defeated the middle school program from Cupertino and San Mateo on Saturday.

It then advanced to the semifinals and defeated the middle school club from Menlo Atherton before beating the Los Altos Middle Schools club for the championship.

Robinson was named the MVP of the league. Players included Eric Nielsen, Will Watson, Trevor Haines, Saul Orona, Oruna, Rachel Cretcher, Amber Acevedo, Wesley Wilder, Ishan Shah, Erika Svesson, Kalisha Acevedo, Jimmy Beniot and Marissa Sendejas.
