arrested in Los Banos, according to police.

Peter L. Mastroieni, 38, was arrested without incident at his residence on the 500 block of Lexington Court in Los Banos at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, Sgt. Chet Stygar of the Los Banos Police Department said.

Mastroieni was on Morgan Hill PD’s Most Wanted list for 40 days before he was caught. He was wanted on a warrant from the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office and one from the MHPD, Stygar said. One of the warrants was for possession of a controlled substance, and one was for driving on a suspended license.

He was booked into Merced County jail with total bail set at $1,030,000.

Stygar said Mastroieni had just recently moved to Los Banos.
