The Morgan Hill Library’s new children’s play space, Trusty Trails, will open April 26. The Santa Clara County Library District will lead a community grand opening celebration featuring special guests, giveaways and an unveiling of a new library card design featuring the play space mascot, HikerBot.

The library’s new Storybook SCCLD children’s play space is an immersive children’s area that supports early literacy skills. The space offers a joyful, bright and inclusive environment for children ages 0-10, says a press release from SCCLD. The Morgan Hill Library play space encourages children to talk, sing, read, write and play in an interactive area that supports learning and helps children become successful readers.

The grand opening celebration starts at 10am at the Morgan Hill Library, located at 660 West Main Ave.
