descended on the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse Thursday night for
the Morgan Hill Downtown Association
’s Annual Meeting.
Approximately 50 local business leaders, owners and employees descended on the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse Thursday night for the Morgan Hill Downtown Association’s Annual Meeting.
After enjoying food and drink provided by local businesses, MHDA Executive Director Dan Craig thanked the crowd for their committment to making downtown Morgan Hill special place and supporting the association, before proceeding with the annual business awards.
“Are there any NBA fans here tonight?” Craig joked. “Let’s give them a hand for missing the finals to be here. We’re really trying to make downtown a destination. The purpose of these awards are to recognize the people who are trying to make downtown a great place.”
The association also installed its incoming directors Majid Bahriny of Mama Mia’s, Noreen Bergin of PlanReady, inc, and Juliet La Pointe of Morgan Hill Dance Center during the meeting. The three will replace outgoing directors Sylvia Cook, Brad Jones and Bill Newkirk.
