I am a former resident of Rancho Cordova who lived within 50 feet of the most contaminated well in the country. I developed thyroid cancer. There’s probably more to perchlorate than meets the eye. I suggest you follow-up on the recent articles about perchlorate in your drinking water by asking the question …Why is there no conclusive evidence to date on the human health effects of perchlorate?
It seems to me that a good high school biology teacher could have done a better, more conclusive scientific study of human toxicology than our government has done over the last decade of known perchlorate contamination. This reeks of a cover-up. I understand the FDA once approved perchlorate derivitives for medical use in suppressing thyroid function. Find out if that’s true … they always have gobs of human study data before approving such use.
