extra innings in the nightcap resulted in a doubleheader split for
the host MoHill Mudcats against the visiting San Jose Twins at Live
Oak High on Sunday.
A 6-4 victory in the opener followed by a 9-8 heartbreaker in extra innings in the nightcap resulted in a doubleheader split for the host MoHill Mudcats against the visiting San Jose Twins at Live Oak High on Sunday.

The Morgan Hill-based Mudcats (6-8 overall) are a semi-pro baseball club playing in the Western Baseball Association of Stan Musial Baseball.

Managed by Ken Valencia, the team plays squads from all over the Bay Area.

The Mudcats players range in age from 18-40, with most players in their mid-20s. Many are current and former Gavilan players.

The Mudcats host the San Jose Tigers in a doubleheader on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. at Live Oak.
