Coached by Scot Dodson, the Raiders held their own from start to
finish in blanking Monterey Peninsula 30-0 Saturday
SALINAS — Morgan Hill’s Mighty Mite Raiders put the finishing touches on an undefeated season by routing the Monterey Peninsula Jets, 30-0, in their championship game Saturday at the Salinas Sports Complex.
Coached by Scot Dodson, the Raiders held their own from start to finish. Their front five dominated the line of scrimmage, allowing Morgan Hill’s running backs to rush for first down, create scoring opportunities and keep the ball in the Raiders’ hands.
The Jets’ only score was called back for a holding penalty.
