Parents can submit intradistrict transfer request applications beginning Thursday, Jan. 7 to the Morgan Hill Unified School District’s headquarters located at 15600 Concord Circle.
If you live within the MHUSD boundaries and wish for your child to attend a school other than their assigned residence school, a transfer request form can be picked up starting Jan. 4 at any school site front office or the district office. The forms can also be downloaded from the district website at mhusd.or/educational-services/enrollment-center.
All applications will be date and time stamped as they are received at the district office, according to the Dec. 16 press release. Lotteries will also be used where required or appropriate. Parents and guardians are responsible for transportation to their requested school.
All current Transfer Request Forms (TRFs) for the 2015-16 school year will expire Dec. 18. Parents and guardians who have current TRFs on file and who are still interested in an intradistrict transfer for their child must submit a new application for the 2016-17 school year. Â

The district anticipates having a limited number of enrollment spaces for students who wish to transfer within the district for the 2016-17 school year, so parents and guardians are encouraged to apply early, according to district staff.
To apply for a focus academy or another school outside your child’s assigned resident school area, complete a TRF and submit it to the Enrollment Center at the district office anytime between Jan. 7, 2016 and Dec. 15, 2016.
