The Morgan Hill Community Foundation is once again on the lookout for nonprofit organizations wanting to highlight some of their top volunteers at the 13th annual philanthropy celebration.
The event is scheduled for Nov. 9 at the Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center.
Co-hosting with PG&E, the MHCF event helps local nonprofits “showcase the dedicated work of Morgan Hill’s philanthropists and volunteers selected by each participating nonprofit,” according to the July 9 announcement.
To complete an Honoree Information Form on behalf of a local nonprofit, visit morganhillcf.org for an online form and instructions. Honoree information forms are due Sept. 7. All honorees are celebrated equally; it is not a competition with one final winner.
Philanthropy Night honorees come from any nonprofit in Morgan Hill that wishes to honor a person, company or group that has made a significant contribution to the nonprofit in the current calendar year. It could be that a person has volunteered for many hours or provided financial support.
The nonprofits determine the criteria appropriate for their group, thereby making it a fair consideration no matter how small or large the nonprofit is.
Additionally, MHCF has a board of director position available. Anyone interested, should contact the Foundation at (408) 722-7612.
