In anticipation of the City’s new aquatic center opening in the next month, the Morgan Hill Swim Club has announced plans to host the second and final clinic of this spring at the Live Oak High School pool.
Responding to the team’s request, the City of Morgan Hill aquatics center staff will be on hand during signups on May 12-13 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Staff will answer questions, accept enrollments in the swim lessons and learn-to-swim programs scheduled for this summer at the aquatic center, and take applications for summer season passes at the Morgan Hill Aquatics Center.
Sign ups for the lessons, and tryouts for the Makos clinic, are free.
In order to try out for the clinic, swimmers should be able to swim one length of the pool, wear a swimsuit, and bring a towel.
The cost of the clinic, which takes place the following week, is $15, and includes a Morgan Hill Swim Club t-shirt and swim cap.
The Morgan Hill Makos is the second oldest swim team in Santa Clara County, having represented the Morgan Hill community in USA Swimming for over 40 years. The team was awarded national status as a bronze level club for 2004 by USA Swimming.
