As a very proud graduate of the Leadership Morgan Hill Class of 2002, I had a chance to learn first hand what a great asset this leadership training and development program is to our community. It is gratifying to see so many Leadership Morgan Hill graduates now serving the Morgan Hill community in many and varied capacities.

It is also encouraging to see that Leadership Morgan Hill is now an independent organization with its own Board of Directors that are dedicated to extending and improving the Leadership program.

Roger Knopf is a Morgan Hill community leader with a demonstrated track record in his building vocation, his bank/hospital board associations, his Rotary service club affiliation and his service to the community in support of our schools and our city government. What better way to celebrate Leadership and to raise funds in support of our Leadership program than to honor Roger with a Leadership Excellence Award.

On Saturday, Aug. 2, there will be a gala tribute dinner and benefit honoring Roger at CordeValle. The black-tie optional event features a pre-dinner reception for the Knopf family, a silent auction, a memorable tribute program and post-dinner mingling under the stars. Please join the fun, tickets are available by calling me at 779-6992 or Sandy de la Cuesta at 779-0076.
