Mary Lorraine Teves died Jan. 29, 2003, at Stanford following a rare illness.

She was born in San Jose 58 years ago, she moved to Gilroy as a child, attended Gilroy School and graduated from Gilroy High School. She enjoyed country music, dancing, cooking and sewing.

She is survived by her children and their spouses Rose Toscano of Gilroy, Jerome and Michelle Rabena of Morgan Hill, Johanna and Jr. Huerta of Gilroy and Thomas and Sandy Rabena of Madera; grandchildren Kaylah Rabena of Morgan Hill, Jerome Raben Jr. of Gilroy, Belinda Allen of Gilroy, Nadine Allen of Gilroy, Jessica Rabena of Madera, Thomas Rabena Jr. of Madera and Kiana Rabena of Madera; brother Thomas David Teves of Oakland; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass was Monday, Feb. 3, at St. Mary’s Church followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home.
