Louise Armanasco died Sunday, May 1, 2005, at Santa Teresa Hospital in San Jose. She was 78.

Born in Wallace, Neb., Mrs. Armanasco moved to Gilroy from Palo Alto in 1957 with her late husband and owned and operated Armanasco Dairy until 1985. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, past member of St. Mary’s Mother’s Guild, San Martin Horseman’s Association and a past Rucker 4-H leader.

She was the mother of Diana Berry and her husband Rich of Gilroy, Jenelle Zapico and her husband, Matt of Austin, Tex., and Debra Shaw and her husband Garry of Novato; grandmother of Bert and Andrea Berry of Gilroy, Kay and John Guenther of Martinez, Paula and David Reynolds of Gilroy, Brad and Sherry Griffin of Galt, Teri and Danny McNamara of Davis, Stacy and Brian Diego of Folsom and Roger and Juliana Hall of Novato; great-grandmother of Amanda and Kelly Griffin, Madison Diego, Griffin, Logan and Tanner McNamara, Isabelle, Abigail and Bridget Reynolds and Jack Guenther.

She is the wife of the late Albert Armanasco (1983).

Services will be at 2pm Wednesday, May 4, at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Gilroy.
