Schlaefer also part of first-place winning Bay Aerials team
Morgan Hill gymnast Amanda Schlaefer won the silver medal at the Level 10 State Championships held last weekend in Oroville. Her All-Around score was 37.25, a season high.

Schlaefer, 16, competes with Bay Aerials Gymnastics, which brought home the first-place team award in the competition. She came in second place on bars with a 9.275, third place on vault (9.35) and beam (9.35) and fifth (9.275) in floor.

Along with five other top scoring Level 10 gymnasts, Schlaefer has been selected for the Nor-Cal State Team, which will compete at Regionals in Long Beach on April 10. She is proud to represent Northern California and hopes to qualify for the May 8 Nationals in Dallas.
