Maurizio Cutrignelli came to America on October 3,1993. He headed straight to Morgan Hill where he worked at Casa Mia Restaurant barely speaking English.
Eight months later, Maurizio opened Piccolo Restaurant in Downtown Morgan Hill. It was a successful restaurant that featured Italian sandwiches. In 1998, Maurizio opened Maurizio’s Italian Restaurant which proved another success. Maurizio married his wife Sara in 2002 and they have two beautiful children, Floriana and Michele, with another baby on the way.
Maurizios contributions to the community are a perfect example of his generosity and passion to Morgan Hill. On January 18, 2006, Maurizio Cutrignell was sworn in as an American citizen. What an honor it has been to watch this man grow and succeed in Morgan Hill. Congratulations and continued success.
