“We’ve had some trouble scoring goals,” said coach Tony Vasquez. “We didn’t do anything special today. But we did have some nice goals today – good crossing that we have been working on.”
Katie Renteria and Michelle McDonald had two goals each. Freshman Jonel Bonjono scored her first two goals on varsity after recently being called up.
Catriona Adam, Jamie Hickey, Gina Estrada, Stephanie Curtis, Daniella King, Christina Adames and Jennie Moton also scored goals for the Acorns.
Bridgett Bonfiglio, Renteria, and Allison Mutz had two assists.

This game was a good tuneup for the Notre Dame game, Vasquez said. But he said the Spirits are overrated and expects to win.
Live Oak (4-6-2, 2-0-1) will play at Notre Dame on Jan. 22 before taking on Gilroy at Live Oak on Jan. 25.
