33-30 victory against Overfelt on Thursday at Live Oak High School.

Live Oak overcame a nine-point deficit at halftime by outscoring the Royals 16-3 in the third quarter. The Acorns held on through a defensive final period for their first win in six games.
Sophomore guard Jocelyn Mendoza scored 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the field to go with nine rebounds and four steals for Live Oak. Horning collected six points, six rebounds and three steals, and Rosales added five steals.
The Acorns finished 7-17 overall and 4-10 in the West Valley Division in their second season under Mike Kiefer.
Rochelle Nuon scored 10 points to lead Overfelt (4-16, 4-10).
- Leland rallied from 11 points down in the second half to beat Sobrato 53-51 on Senior Night at Sobrato High School.
Jessica Westall scored 14 points, and senior guard Caitlin Ryman added three in their final game with the Bulldogs, who had won two straight.
Junior forward Alyssa Firato had a career-high 26 points for Sobrato, which went 7-16 and 4-9 in the Santa Teresa Division in coach Terry Smith’s second season.

Sobrato and Live Oak will play their Senior games Tuesday against Willow Glen and Evergreen Valley, respectively.
Thursday the Bulldogs (3-12-2, 2-9-1 Mount Hamilton Division) lost 3-2 to Lincoln, while the Acorns (7-6-4, 4-6-2 Santa Teresa Division) fell 4-2 to Oak Grove, both in Morgan Hill.
