Following two losses the Live Oak hockey team came up with the win on Friday against Piedmont with a score of 13-8.
On offense junior Brian Costello bolted in the first goal for Live Oak and later added four more goals to the score board plus two assists.
Driving in the second goal for Live Oak was defender junior Scott Alexander who also added four more goals to the score board. Forward Kyle Dutra scored two goals and provided four assists.
Junior Conner Williamson put one in for Live Oak and had two assists. Senior Chase Norman also had two assists.
In the net was goalie Ricky Lasher who made the critical saves needed for the win.
Teammates Tyler Damron, Dutra and Michael Widergren played a tight game.
This Friday Live Oak will have it’s final face-off before playoffs against Monta Vista. They play at 6pm at Rollin Ice.
