Acorns lose final game to Los Gatos; retains second place
heading into playoffs
Los Gatos and Live Oak battled back and forth for the two period game with lots of shots fired in the net, but it was Los Gatos in the end that came up with the most goals.

However,with only three losses, Live Oak finishes the season strong and holds on to second place. Monta Vista, who’s only loss was to Live Oak, finished with first place. 

Junior Kyle Dutra’s speed and skill lead the acorns with seven goals and two assists.  Senior Chase Norman added three goals and junior Conner Williamson had one goal and one assist. 

On Friday, the Acorns will start action in the playoffs, starting things off against Milpitas at 4pm.  Live oak will lose some of their players to the junior prom, which is the same night. But those players hope to join their team in the championship game scheduled for Saturday at 5:30.
