As a resident living adjacent to East Dunne Avenue we are very concerned about the constant speeding on this street. This is happening day and evening with apparently little law enforcement.
With the recent changes in California state laws we would strongly suggest that speed cameras be installed at the intersection of Pine and East Dunne. And do this before someone is seriously injured.

Thank you for raising this concern, George. It’s a real problem!
We live just up the road near the intersection of Hill Road and East Dunne Ave. The speeding and drag racing is absolutely out of hand. It has caused serious collisions and even the death of a young child in years past. Our city council member reached out to MHPD a little over a year ago to request speed enforcement. I understand the City was conducting a traffic study along the East Dunne corridor. And yet the speeding and squealing tires continue at all hours of the night. I don’t see any significant updates as a result of the traffic study, either. So I don’t know what it will take for this city to take it seriously.
It seems like it’s a citywide problem
I live off of Llagas and have contacted the police department in the past to complain about constant speeding and nightly burn outs at all intersections
There also was a fatality in the past on llagas
I rarely see MHPD in the area
