In light of Gov. Jerry Brown halting bipartisan state budget

The California Budget Project, a nonpartisan, nonprofit
organization, is coming to Ann Sobrato High School tonight to give
a presentation on how California funds education and the impact it
has on students and teachers in Morgan Hill.
The California Budget Project, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, is coming to Ann Sobrato High School tonight to give a presentation on how California funds education and the impact it has on students and teachers in Morgan Hill.

The free event starts at 7 p.m. in the Sobrato Performing Arts Center, 401 Burnett Avenue. The Morgan Hill Federation of Teachers and MHUSD are co-sponsoring the event, along with the Service Employees International Union.

The California Budget Project engages in independent fiscal and policy analysis and public education with the goal of improving public policy affecting the economic and social well-being of low- and middle-income California, according to their website.
