I would much prefer the previously chosen site off DeWitt Avenue behind the City Hall for the new library.
The location is familiar to current library users, the site does not require financing and it depends only on governmental agencies, not private investors who certainly must make money on their investments.
I view the only drawback, the more expensive construction cost, as a one-time expense that allows excellent use of the property along DeWitt.
