It is with great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved mother, wife, daughter, and friend, due to complications from a pulmonary embolism. Julie leaves behind her husband of 15 years, Nick, as well as three sons that she adored, Jonathan, 18, Nicholas, 14 and Daniel, 12. She is survived by her father, Freeman Perreira, sisters Susan and Rebecca, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jennie.

A nurse by profession, Julie spent her life taking care of others, especially her family. She could be recognized driving from school to sporting events by her license plate: “MY3SNNS”. She worked at El Toro Elementary School and volunteered for more organizations than can be listed, including Secretary for Live Oak Home and School Club, Boy Scout Treasurer, Cub Scout Leader, prior Team Mom, School Nurse at Sobrato High School, and every board position at El Toro Home and School Club. Julie was known to volunteer her time in classrooms even if one of her children didn’t attend. You could always find Julie chasing children for a kiss and there are many youngsters in Morgan Hill, besides her own, who will miss her greatly.

Despite all her contributions and accomplishments, Julie loved most her job of mother, and spent her life providing unlimited opportunities for her sons to excel.
