She was the loving wife of Freeman Perreira of Morgan Hill; dear mother of Susan Perreira of Modesto, Julie Pusateri and son-in-law Nick of Morgan Hill and Rebecca Bruffy of Modesto; dear grandmother of Jonathan, Nicholas and Daniel Pusateri of Morgan Hill and Amy Bruffy of Modesto; and loving sister of Evelyn Mills of Alameda.
She was a retired registered nurse and an alumna of San Jose Hospital. She graduated from nursing school in 1949.
Vigil Service takes place at 4 p.m. today, March 19, at Johnson Funeral Home, with visitation at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass takes place Saturday, March 20, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Catherine Church. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Gilroy.
The family asks that any donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Cancer Society.
