Thank you for publishing my letter on July 11 giving a wrap-up concerning 4th of July celebrations in Morgan Hill.
Although the 300-person list of volunteers who gave of their time to work shifts at our various events is too long to include individually, and while I and the other IDI officers, staff and event chairs are equally and deeply grateful to each one our volunteers, I would appreciate it if you would give special recognition to the following persons from the South County Islamic Center who turned out in force at the last minute to make our parking for the fireworks so successful as a public service and a fundraiser.
They are Cortiz Chew, Aziz, Sharif Razzaqui, Nuzhat Alavi, Salah Hamed, Judy Andderson-Hamed, Idres Hussain, Arshad Abbassi, Su Pittlam, Mikael Pittam, Karen Musa and Ali Khan
