For the first time, the Coyote Creek Golf Club will host the
annual Independence Day, Inc. golf tournament as part of Morgan
Hill
’s Fourth of July celebration. The 9th annual IDI Golf
Tournament will be held at Coyote on Friday, July 1. Registration
is at noon with a modified shotgun start at 1pm on the Valley
Course. The $140 per golfer entry fee includes a box lunch, 18
holes of play on the Valley Course, golf cart, ran
ge balls, hosted hors d’ oeuvres during the tournament awards
presentation and raffle. All proceeds from this event go support
the community’s annual Fourth of July Festivities.

This year will mark the 111th consecutive year that the City of Morgan Hill will celebrate Independence Day.
Morgan Hill’s Independence Day festivities are organized and run by an all-volunteer committee (Independence Day Inc.) and staffed entirely by community volunteers.
IDI is financially supported by business sponsorships, private residents’ contributions, and the City of Morgan Hill.
This is an event created by the community, for the community and is co-sponsored by the City of Morgan Hill.

Patriotic Sing Festival, at Britton Middle School, 6pm-7pm
Annual Street Dance, 2nd and Monterey, 7pm-10:30pm
Monday, July 4th:
5K race, downtown Morgan Hill, 8am-9:30am
Historic Downtown Parade, downtown Morgan Hill, 10am-noon
Family Fun Festival, Community Park, 11:30am-7pm
Entertainment Show and Fireworks Display, Community Park, 7pm-10pm
