Machado Heritage Society and the Morgan Hill Unified School District teamed up to develop a winning program of history and science programs for the students of our area.
Many hours of planning and cooperation made this program a reality. Thank you to the board of the heritage society, the board of trustees, the school district administration and the teachers and students for believing in our field trip concept.
Parent volunteer Jan Strahan made the field trip curriculum work by donating countless hours to organizing activities, materials and schedules. Strahan is an amazing director of the Machado Field Trips! The actual field trips could never have happened without the enthusiastic, hands-on support of the Machado docents. The gift of their time and talents made the field trip programs a success. A heartfelt thank you to Betty Atkins, Shelli Bettencourt, Marilyn Britton, Meredith Brown, Sandra Cagle, Diane Downer, Diane McHenry, Dorothy Reed, Kathryn Rusconi, John Ward, Carrie Williams and Nancy Wise. Rain or shine, this group made all the planning come to life! Thank you so much.
