Dear Editor, I am responding to the article in the Saturday,
Dec. 18, edition of the Morgan Hill Times on the disappearance of
the Suzuki family dog, Patch, a purebred Shih Tzu requiring special
care. I was saddened to learn of Patch
’s disappearance, knowing how special a member of the Suzuki
family he truly has been. I am told that there have been
“sightings” of “Patch,” but that recovery has eluded the Suzuki
family.
Dear Editor,
I am responding to the article in the Saturday, Dec. 18, edition of the Morgan Hill Times on the disappearance of the Suzuki family dog, Patch, a purebred Shih Tzu requiring special care. I was saddened to learn of Patch’s disappearance, knowing how special a member of the Suzuki family he truly has been. I am told that there have been “sightings” of “Patch,” but that recovery has eluded the Suzuki family.
During this holiday season let’s bring this great family a belated Christmas gift and reunite this lost family member with the ones who love him. I would encourage anyone who sees Patch to pick him up, call the Suzuki family and keep him safe until they can reunite with him. I have been looking for him whenever I am out in the community and I would encourage everyone to do the same.
I am going to contribute to the “reward fund” to help encourage anyone who finds him to call the family. I would challenge anyone who may have innocently taken in this beautiful dog to call the Suzuki’s.
To anyone who may have purposefully “taken” Patch and thinks that they will keep him knowing that he does not belong to you, you will be caught. So, I encourage you to turn Patch over to the family. I know that they will not ask questions and if you prefer, you may turn him into a local animal shelter so the authorities can turn him over to the Suzuki family. Let’s not be a Grinch.
John Reese, Morgan Hill
Editor’s note: Anyone sighting Patch is asked to call the Suzukis at 779-1722.
