by as many 14, just enough for them to earn their 11th win of the
season and improve to 3-3 in league, bolstering their chance of a
first Central Coast Section playoff berth.

Harsh Sikka had 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Brett Hall contributed 12 and five to lead host Oakwood. Freshman Justin Mortensen added 10 points and 10 rebounds.
- The Sobrato Bulldogs defeated Westmont 47-44 on Wednesday for their first win in the Mount Hamilton Division.
Travis Saenz scored 17 points, Karl Johnisee chipped in 12, and Ben Vater 10 for the Bulldogs, who squandered an early lead before rallying in the fourth quarter.
Sobrato (3-15, 1-7) also received eight points from Anthony Villarreal.

Winners of four straight, Yerba Buena pulled away with a 9-2 scoring run in the fourth quarter after the Acorns trimmed a 15-point deficit to 46-40.
Live Oak scored six consecutive points to lead 17-16 and 19-18 in the second quarter, but the Warriors raced ahead to a 28-24 halftime lead, capping the run with Wilson Tran’s layup as time expired.
Rivera (20 points per game), the league’s leading scorer, went for 18 points, five assists and four steals, and made two 3-pointers. Teammate Richard Dao had 14 points and seven rebounds.
The Acorns (7-11, 4-4) will visit San Jose on Friday, then open a four-game homestand Tuesday against Mount Pleasant.

Live Oak beat Branham 3-1 on Wednesday for its fourth straight victory in Mount Hamilton Division play.
Shannon Rauschnot had two goals, and Macey Dunne scored as well for the Acorns (7-3, 4-3), with assists by Monica Luna, Megan Rauschnot and Emily Kyle.
- Sobrato lost 2-0 at Leland that same day, dropping to 4-5-4 and 2-3-2 in the Mount Hamilton Division.
