Girls soccer match postponed because of rain

Lady Acorns included in first San Jose Mercury News top 15
rankings released today
MORGAN HILL — The girls soccer game scheduled to be played at 3:15 p.m. today at Live Oak High has been postponed because of rain, LOHS athletic director Mark Cummins announced in a statement.

The Mount Hamilton Division match between the first-place Lady Acorns (6-1-3 overall, 4-0 league) and Leland (3-5-1, 2-2) has been rescheduled for the same time Monday at Leland High’s artificial turf field. The teams swapped the location of their Feb. 12 meeting, which will be played at 3:15 p.m. at Live Oak High.

Today, the Acorns were listed No. 12 in the first San Jose Mercury News top 15 rankings.
