SAN JOSE — Live Oak senior Jacey Turay made two 3-pointers on the way to scoring 12 points Thursday in a 57-31 loss at Branham.

Alexis Bejarano added four points for the Lady Acorns (3-14 overall, 1-8 league), who will play the first of two final home games at 7 p.m. Tuesday against Yerba Buena.

Branham (15-5, 8-2), one of three teams tied for first place in the West Valley Division, received 17 points apiece from Jessica Manning and freshman Taylor Morway.

The Bruins jumped ahead early, scoring 19 points in the first quarter. They led 30-15 at halftime.

Santa Teresa 63, Sobrato 30

The Lady Bulldogs have four games left to earn their first Mount Hamilton Division win, and three of them are at home.

Their underclassmen led the way Thursday, as Alyssa Firato scored 15 points, and Saida Sampson and Jessica Westall netted six apiece. Senior Shealyn Kunze added three points for visiting Sobrato (3-17, 0-10).

Jelly Carrasco and Madison Sanders-Curry provided 13 and 12 points, respectively, for the Saints (16-4, 8-2), who remained a game behind first-place Evergreen Valley — the Bulldogs’ next opponent.

Sobrato will host the Cougars and Prospect at 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
