The Gavilan baseball team hasn’t lost more than two games in a row all season and it wasn’t about to change now.
The Rams knocked off the Coast Pacific Conference leading Ohlone 2-1 in 15 innings Saturday in Fremont.
The win improves Gavilan to 17-10 overall, 9-7 in conference. The Rams currently sit in second place with eight games to go.
Stats and scoring from this game were not yet available.
Gavilan will be back in action at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday to host De Anza.

Rams top Foothill, fall to Cabrillo
Gavilan’s Ryan Asp and Brittani Siaz rallied their way past Foothill Friday at Rio Del Mar Beach in Aptos. The victory earned the Rams their first ‘W’ since March 13 as they went on to beat Foothill 3-2.
It was a different story against Cabrillo, however. Gavilan was swept 5-0 and split the dual meet 1-1.
Gavilan (2-4) will take on Feather River and West Valley on Saturday, the time is still to be determined, at West Valley College.
