Friends and family of murder victim Jesse Saldivar will have a car wash to raise money for the young man’s funeral expenses Sunday.
The car wash will take place 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7 at Advanced Wheels, 16845 Monterey Road in Morgan Hill.
Saldivar, 18 of Morgan Hill, was stabbed to death early in the morning July 30, on Sunnyslope Road in Hollister, according to police. The homicide was the result of a sudden altercation with an unknown suspect. No arrests have been made in relation to the incident.
The Hollister Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect or suspects in this incident.
