length.

Twenty-one minutes into the New Year, Nolan Sutherland Lyle was born weighing eight pounds, 12 ounces at 21 1/4 inches in length.
“It’s wonderful. Every day I’m amazed at the miracle of life and how beautiful he is,” Prcevski said.
As of 9 a.m. Dec. 31, when Natalie Prcevski, 36, was admitted to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, she was already more than a week overdue.
“He was due Dec. 26, so we were waiting the week of Christmas and nothing happened,” she said. After being induced, Prcevski was in labor all of the last day of 2008.
Through the delivery room door, Prcevski and Lyle, 41, could hear New Years well-wishers. Between pushing contractions, the two did the same.
The pregnancy was a pleasant surprise for the two, who work together at Santa Clara-based Savvis Inc., a web services provider. Prcevski said she told Lyle she was pregnant during a bicycle ride through Coyote Creek, Morgan Hill’s scenic and signature bike path.
“We pulled over to take a breath at the picnic benches. We sat down and I told him, ‘I have some news for you.'” Prcevski recalls. “I thought it was a pretty place.”
Prcevski was born in Michigan while Lyle has been a longtime Morgan Hill resident.
“It’s a great place for him to grow up,” she said. “It’s very pretty. Everyone is super friendly and we have great neighbors.”
Nolan is Prcevski’s first child, and the second for Lyle.
Prcevski said the couple compromised on the name, from the Christmas-inspired “Noel” they had originally planned, landing on “Nolan.” Sutherland is derived from Lyle’s Scottish ancestry.
