YMCA Senior Luncheon

YMCA Senior Center, 171 W. Edmundson Ave., holds a luncheon at noon, Monday-Friday. $5 fee for those under 60, $2 donation is asked for seniors over 60, but not required.

Used-Book Sale

The Friends of the Library used- book sale is held 1-7 p.m. on Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Wednesdays, 1-4 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Saturdays at the Morgan Hill Library, 660 W. Main Ave. Extended hours for the book store will become available as more volunteers join the Friends of the Library. Cost of membership is $10.

Author at Morgan Hill Library

The Friends of the Library Speakers Forum presents Mildred Armstrong Kalish, author of Little Heathens: Hard Times and High Spirits on an Iowa Farm During the Great Depression, 2 p.m. at the Morgan Hill Library, 660 West Main Ave. Kalish, an 85-year-old retired English professor, will read from her book, tell how she came to write it, and share her experiences as a first time author. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

Holiday Lights Parade

The Kiwanis Club of Morgan Hill sponsors the ‘Holiday Lights Parade,’ beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the northbound lane of Monterey Road starting on First Street and ending at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center. Monterey Road will be closed 3-8 p.m.
