Edward W. Peterman died Jan. 16, 2004, at home in San Jose at
the age of 59 after a lengthy illness.
Edward W. Peterman died Jan. 16, 2004, at home in San Jose at the age of 59 after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Gilroy.
He was the husband of Paula Peterman of San Jose; dear father of Stephanie Peterman of Yuba City and Kelly Peterman of San Jose; brother of Randall Peterman of Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada; son of Phyllis Eustice Feemster of Saratog and the late Edward Peterman. He also is survived by aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.
Peterman worked for the Santa Claa County deputy sheriff before retiring after 30 years. He was a founding member of the South Bay Historical Railroad Society and curator of its railroad museum. He also was a member of various other railroad organizations.
Visitation is 4-9 today, Jan. 20, at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy. Details of his wake will be announced at the viewing.
