I like to walk a lot with my little dog, but I take my life in my hands every time I go out because many drivers in Morgan Hill don’t know pedestrians have the right-of-way was soon as they step onto a cross-walk.
In the last couple of months I have been nearly hit twice when I was well into the cross-walk by women in SUVs, once downtown crossing Monterrey and again crossing East Dunne on Hill Rd.
It was clear to me that both drivers were unaware of the law. Hopefully these drivers as well as others will read this letter and avoid a serious accident in the future.
